Got an idea? want to make it fly?
we can help you get there
BRONTE ECKERMANN HAS 29 YEARS SUCCESS IN BUSINESS, R&D AND INNOVATION, MOST RECENTLY DEVELOPING AND COMMERCIALISING THE ZING CRICKET WICKET SYSTEM.
OUR OBJECTIVE IS TO HELP ENTREPRENEURIAL PEOPLE SUCCEED USING INNOVATION AS A BUSINESS STRATEGY.
HOW WE HELP DEPENDS ON YOUR SITUATION. OUR COMMERCIAL OBJECTIVE IS TO PROFIT FROM YOUR SUCCESS. WE SELECTIVELY WORK WITH CLIENTS WHERE OUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE CAN BE DECISIVE IN ACHIEVING THAT SUCCESS.
Bronte has an interesting story to tell. His approach is to tailor the presentation to the audience, and keep things entertaining and educational. Get in touch and lets work together to make your event memorable.
Over 29 years, Bronte's developed a proprietary system for measuring the commercial and technical potential for new ideas. Its important to get the fundamentals right and understand the risks and rewards before hitting go.
You need a business plan to attract investment, develop, and commercialise your technology. Then you need to scale the business, and plan an exit strategy. The critical thing is that all the pieces have to come together into a cohesive and cunning plan for success.
Ironically, engineers and designers are often the worst people to advise on innovation. Our unique forte is balancing technical with commercial. We take a business-like approach to R&D, and use R&D as a business strategy. We can take a macro view and get our hands dirty in the technical details.
DESIGN AND ENGINEERING
We have 29 years of experience developing products in a variety of markets on three continents. Our "Proactive Digital Design" methodology is specifically designed for entrepreneurs and SMEs who need bang for buck and proactive project management.
INNOVATION AND LATERAL THINKING
Lateral thinking is an undervalued management skill. In a startup business you're going to have critical unforeseen problems land in your lap. Inspirational solutions to intractable problems generally come from lateral solutions. Your biggest emergency can be your greatest hour.
Managing a new startup will involve your time and resources being pulled and stretched in every direction. This requires a very different skill set to managing a typical company. We can help you avoid the traps and focus your time and resources where you need them most.
We have 29 years dealing globally from factory floor, qa, logistics, fulfilment, distribution and retail. We know how to negotiate prices and how to evaluate and select suppliers. You need to be surrounded by people with good skills and the right attitude.
Bronte graduated from The SA Uni School of Design in 1988 and then began a lifetime of further education in life, business and R&D; an odyssey that took him to Sydney, Silicon Valley, London and Kitzbuhel. At 50 years of age, the opportunities just keep getting better. He is passionately living by his personal objective: "To live an interesting life".
Bronte was fortunate to be surrounded by an incredible family, growing up in Adelaide. They taught him values through actions, not words. They encouraged him to deal with life's problems himself and develop strength. There was no wrapping in cotton wool. Professionally, he has always sought to make every step in his career a bigger and more challenging one, and to learn from those around him. He has found himself surrounded by some of the greatest and most commercially successful engineers and leaders in the world. You become the type of person you surround yourself with.
Today he has a fabulous wife and two lovely daughters and is a successful entrepreneur. If he can be half the mentor to others, as his mentors and family have been to him, he will be a very happy man.
He is also uncompromisingly commercial. Its not a hobby. In commercial matters, his credo is always, if there is no money in the game, the game probably isn't that exciting.
– BRET WEINSTEIN
All innovations precede from the fringe. The people at the centre for whom things are working best aren’t going to be the ones to innovate the new way. It’s the people for whom things are not quite working who are going to innovate..

Sometimes in life, you have to stop planning and point the skis downhill. Education and preparation is important, but so is practising how to ride the bumps at speed down a very steep hill.
ordinary people can do extraordinary things
